A 42mil chip provides outstanding radiant intensity and allows DC operation of the devices up to 1A (VSMY98545DS, VSMY98545ADS) or 1.5A (VSMY98545). Additionally, the VSMY98545DS, VSMY98545ADS diodes offer double-stack technology and a Zener diode for ESD protection up to 2KV. Typical applications include infrared illumination for CMOS cameras (CCTV), illumination for cameras (3D gaming), machine vision, 3D TV, and bio identification.
