REF196 is a precision micropower low dropout voltage (LDV) reference. It has a precision band gap voltage reference which uses a patented temperature drift curvature correction circuit and laser trimming of highly stable, thin-film resistors to achieve a very low temperature coefficient and high initial accuracy. It is mainly used in application such as portable instruments, ADCs and DACs, smart sensors, solar powered applications, loop-current-powered instruments. • Nominal output voltage range is 4.096V• High output current is 30mA• Low supply current is 45µA maximum• Sleep mode is 15µA maximum• Low dropout voltage, operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C• Short-circuit protection• Initial accuracy is 4.086V to 4.106V• Line regulation is 4ppm/V to 8ppm/V (at 25°C)• Load regulation is 4ppm/mA to 8ppm/mA (at 25°C)• Package style is 8-lead NSOIC
