This 1x1 RS232 and V.28/V.24 transceiver with high speed data rate of 3Mbps operates from either a 3.3V or 5V supply. It has an AutoShutdown Plus feature that achieves 1µA shutdown current and reduces power consumption. The device automatically enters a low power shutdown mode when the RS232 cable is disconnected or the device driving the transmitter and receiver inputs are inactive for more than 30 seconds. • Supply voltage range is 3V to 5.5V• Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C• Integrated low voltage logic for easy interface with ASICs and microcontrollers• Integrated ±15KV HBM ESD protection• Integrated charge pump circuitry requiring only four external 0.1µF capacitors for 3.3V operation
