Stepping Motor Driver ICs Toshiba Stepping Motor Driver ICs overcome common application challenges by employing Active Gain Control (AGC) and Advanced Dynamic Mixed Decay (ADMD). Stepping motor drivers are widely used for precise position control. However, stepper motors often demand high current operations to maximize the speed and prevent stalling or fast current decay in the PWM off period. This can cause noise and vibration issues. Designers are seeking optimized control solutions. AGC and ADMD address these issues and are implemented in most of Toshiba"s stepper motor controller products.
